They are very responsive via email and phone call, if I ever had to wait for a call back it was always a few hours later or the next morning. They want the best for their tenants to ensure we know we are taken care of. Rachel and Kevin are the 2 individuals I have been in close contact with over the past year, they are very understanding and direct regarding intentions. These two are the most compassionate property management professionals I've seen so far. They listen to individual experiences and go above and beyond to provide several options for further steps to ensure all parties are comfortable. My apartment building was 276 Grand Concourse (highly recommend). When pursuing an apartment, this company is your best bet.
May 08 · brianna stewartDO NOT MOVE INTO ONE OF THEIR BUILDINGS.The below is a review of one of their buildings but mostly about them as management/landords.Would not recommend this place to anyone.First: it is highly overpriced for what you get, unless you are lucky enough to get one of the bigger units (even then it's high for the area).Second: Do not let the amenities fool you: they are not upkept, the roof has mostly damaged furniture or not much at all. The Landlords have been informed of this and besides a ChatGPT response nothing is done. There is a round couch in the cellar with rips and pieces of wood sticking out. The gym is constantly full of sweat stains and large dust bunnies. The bathrooms in the cellar do not have toilet paper.Third: IT IS NOT SAFE. There is no communication around the attempted break ins in January, blood spilled throughout the lobby in January and February (both left for several hours - the first one was more than 24 hours), a tenant threatening to kill everyone on two separate occasions, once with a chef's knife. They say there is 24/7 security but security did not arrive for any of these occasions.Fourth. SMOKING IS ALLOWED EVERYWHERE. In the mornings you are greeted with constant smoking the moment you walk out the door - actually this just happens all the time. Lit cigarettes are thrown on to balconies despite people, dogs or furniture being out. People smoke on their balconies not allowing folks to open their windows and several smoke in their apartments. They stated when we moved in the only designated place was the rooftop, but this is not true.Fifth: UTILITIES cost anywhere from $200-$500 in 1 bedrooms.Sixth: They do not repair anything. One of our heating units is duct taped together by the super. There are several drafts they never fixed, a leak in the bathroom they never fixed, cockroaches and mice in the basement.Petitions have been signed and sent to the landlord demanding a safe common areas based on the Warrant of Habitability with no response. Others have brought the landlord to court to get things fixed like holes in the floor, multiple leaks in their ceilings.We had a great sized apartment and balcony but it is absolutely not worth it between the safety concerns, lack of response from the landlord and that most of the amenities are falling apart.

They’ve illegally held onto my security deposit for nearly 6 months since I left my apartment despite any contact I’ve instigated being met with “you’ll receive it soon”, and it’s ended in me having to take the case to civil court. Do NOT rent from these people.
February 28 · Ashlyn MaesJCS Realty Management is an awful management company. I live at One38 (117 Saint Ann’s Ave), and they’ve lied about everything they promised. The building wasn’t even ready when I moved in August, and it’s been a complete disaster ever since. There’s no reliable hot water despite endless complaints, the wiring is so bad it constantly causes outages, my A/C broke and smoked, and appliances didn’t even work when I moved in. To top it off, we have no amenities. Their communication is terrible, and its clear that they do not care about their tenants. Avoid this company and any of their buildings at all costs!
