Abington House Introduce
In the heart of Manhattan, where art, culture, and urban energy converge, you'll find some of the most sought-after living spaces in the world. New York City's apartment complexes are more than just buildings; they are communities that offer a distinct lifestyle. Among the most impressive of these is Abington House, a luxury rental apartment complex that epitomizes modern city living. Located in the vibrant and burgeoning West Chelsea neighborhood, this residential tower is not just a place to live, but a destination in itself. It’s designed to provide a resort-like experience for its residents, blending high-end finishes with an extensive list of amenities and an unparalleled level of service. For those looking for the ultimate in luxury, convenience, and community in New York, Abington House presents a compelling choice.
The allure of Abington House extends beyond its physical structure. It’s about the lifestyle it affords, one that is both luxurious and effortless. From the moment you step inside, the professional and friendly staff are there to ensure your experience is nothing short of exceptional. The building is meticulously maintained, and its services are seamlessly integrated into daily life. This commitment to resident satisfaction is a common theme in the feedback from those who call Abington House home, with mentions of staff members who are "impeccable," "friendly," and "proactively helpful." The building’s management and on-site staff, including individuals like Betty and Julio mentioned in reviews, create a sense of personal care that is a rare find in a large residential building. They work tirelessly to ensure everything from leasing to move-outs and maintenance requests is handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
The location of Abington House is one of its most significant advantages. Situated at 500 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001, USA, the complex is perfectly positioned in West Chelsea, right at the doorstep of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. This puts residents at the center of one of Manhattan's most dynamic and modern neighborhoods. A key feature of its location is its adjacency to the High Line, the elevated urban park built on a former railroad track. This provides residents with immediate access to a unique green space for walks, jogging, and relaxation, with a "commute" that is simply a walk in the park. The area is a "Walker's Paradise," with a Walk Score of 98, and also a "Rider's Paradise" with world-class transportation options. The complex is a short walk from the 34 St-Hudson Yards subway station (7 train), as well as the 34th Street-Penn Station (A, C, E, 1, 2, 3 lines), making it exceptionally convenient to travel to any part of the city. For those with cars, there is a wheelchair accessible parking lot. This prime location means residents are minutes away from top-tier dining, shopping at Hudson Yards and Manhattan West, and the vibrant arts scene of the Chelsea gallery district.
Abington House offers an extensive list of on-site services and amenities, designed to cater to every aspect of a resident’s life. The goal is to provide a complete living experience, eliminating the need to leave the building for many daily needs and recreational activities.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Best building I’ve lived in. Betty Fernandez was amazing with helping us leases and move-outs. Julio made sure everything worked perfectly in our unit and customized the apartment for us. The sun deck and outdoor courtyard are beautiful, the gym, pool, etc are lovely. The only downside is the apartments are super expensive - only a few floorplans are really that spacious.
January 17 · Ali FlemingOne of the best properties you could rent at in Manhattan. The staff is impeccable, friendly, and proactively helpful. Amenities are top quality and make one believe they are utilizing a five star spa and gym. Bowling alleys and event spaces are perfect for small and large gatherings. Multiple roof decks are ideal throughout the year for solo or groups. Apartments are clean, spacious, and terrific views. Very quiet.
November 24 · Ned BermanLived here for quite a while. Back in the day, this was an amazing building -- finishes were great, units were well maintained, and the staff was always around and went above and beyond. Now, things have changed. There's much less staff on duty at any one time -- often the desk is staffed by one concierge instead of two and before there were multiple maintenance men for just this building, now we share a single maintenance guy on duty split between this building and a neighboring one. The office doesn't pick up their phone anymore, and often seems closed and dark. The amenities fee for the gym has doubled. And the fee for the BBQ areas has almost 4Xed. Paying rent went from something they handled in-house to something handled externally. And, of course, the units have started to show their age. It's clear that Related, the owner of the building, which for years was the go-to rental company for individuals seeking high-end apartments has shifted strategies to simply trying to wring out every last penny from their tenants now.
June 01 · Marc JanisThe goat apartment building has a super cool pool and bball court.the only thing i wish they had was a indoor soccer field
January 01 · Louise EvansYou can tell the staff/building management cares. We're currently staying here in an extended stay unit as we look for apartments back in the city after selling out upstate home, and it's been an absolute pleasure. Nadia at the management/leasing office cares about the building and its people. Everyone I've spoken to is super responsive, available, and genuinely work with you to make your rental experience a pleasure. We might not be able to get the unit we need in the timeframe we need it right now, but we are definitely coming back to Related managed buildings. My husband absolutely fell in love with this place and its amenities!Edit: Now that we're kinda post-COVID, although the management is still amazing and we appreciate the friendliness, the amount of enormous parties booking out private spaces is a big turn-off. It feels a lot less luxury and a lot more Jersey Shore Chuck-E-Cheeze with the 20+ person parties taking over amenity areas. Couldn't find a quiet outdoor space to enjoy and work with reliable internet once the warmer weather hit, so that's a shame. Would definitely consider the space again if policies got switched around, but for now, we're happy to enjoy our own private roofdeck at a different residence.
