March 17 · I ZIt is a unique location for me. I work 0.1 miles from Avalon, which is incredibly convenient. The location and the ocean view were the main arguments in choosing this place for life and business. The postal and delivery services are excellent and reliable. This building has many advantages. I was not always satisfied because some people allow themselves to smoke, listen to music, and disregard other community rules. However, I must credit the Avalon team—all my complaints were read and heard, and most problems were resolved.

March 19 · Jimena YwaskewyczAvalon is a truly exceptional building, and is a Brooklyn gem and best kept secret.I moved in three months ago, and have an impression that I won a housing lottery for the best building in town at totally reasonable price tag. Here is what makes it exceptional for me:1) It's gorgeous inside and out, kept immaculately clean, and gives a vibe of a luxury resort.2) My view from one of the top floors is to die for, featuring sunrises and spectacular sunsets over Verrazano bridge (Northern and Western Exposures).3) There is incredible sound isolation in the apartment, you do not hear your neighbors, like AT ALL.4) Apartments are very comfortable and full of light, my windows are from floor to ceiling, creating an impression of living in the sky..It gives me happy feeling at all times.. I need light to feel happy and all apartments are full of it.5) There are sizable enough closets and kitchen cabinets to accomodate all my belongings.6) Presence of washer, drier, dishwasher in the apartment not only save me crazy amount of time doing the chores I hate, but also 100 dol + per month I previously spent in the laundromat.7) The building provides extreme comfort for the residents in every possible way. Beautiful lounge upstairs where you can host a meeting or a party, with insane sunrises and the view over Brooklyn and Manhattan, makes all guests numb with delight). It's a beauty! Ability to drink coffee or a glass of wine , like on your own balcony, is precious.8) Downstairs lounge with multiple sitting arrangements, is also practical and convenient.9) Gym and pool are often quite empty, Allowing for a quality workout without competition for equipment and complete relaxation. It's like you're in the luxury resort, but you do not have to depart anytime soon. And it makes you happy and relaxed.10) Outdoor space on the 3rd Floor is super green, has grilling stations where residents can cook for themselves and host little parties. Children are playing, professionals are working. There are so many places where you can comfortably sit.11) Staff It's extremely friendly and accommodating. Especially Fatmire and Martin - are exceptional professionals, great communicators, always out there to help. Thanks, Guys.12) I used to spend about two hundred fifty dollars a month on uber I had to take to the train station. No more! Location is prime Sheepsheadbay, station is 20 meters away from entrance. Restaurants, gyms, shops , bay are all right here.13) Building loves pets, there are beautiful dogs around, well groomed and happy.14) Residents mostly look happy, healthy and pleasant.15) I don't use it , but parking is available for an additional payment.16) Electric bill came surprisingly low. Even during summer time. You regulate your own temperature inside apartment to your liking with termostat, like in a hotel.To summarize, Since I moved April, I feel happier, healthier, relaxed, nearly stress free. I do sports inside daily, I eat better, i invite people over for a great time, and I miss my home when I am out for 2 or more hours). 28 years in the USA- this is the best home I ever lived in..Truly my home..If you would like to become a resident, Beware that apartments come available at different times on Avalon Website. They can be priced differently, and you sometimes may catch a real deal, like it happened to me. With all the amenities and useful functions this building gives me, I feel I actually am ahead financially over my previous situation, although rent there was much lower. Yes , I pay 1k more in rent than before in an old house, but I gain both in amenities I constantly use, convenience and health, including mental. Which for me is Priceless!If you're a self -employed professional like myself, working from home, this building creates outstanding work-life balance and keeps you in peace.
