★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve lived at The Victory for 4 years and I love it! I have a beautiful apartment with an incredible view. Any time I’ve needed maintenance they respond immediately, the front desk team is exceptional, Jason is always on top of everything and has the best attitude even under pressure. Frank, Brian, Richard, Rio and the entire team are all just wonderful and make me feel safe and taken care of. The building is under new management now, and there has been consistent, positive improvements overall since they took over. I’m very satisfied living here!
September 19 · Crystal WatkinsI’ve been a tenant at Hudson Landing (formerly The Victory) for over 10 years, and I can honestly say it’s a joy to live here. The management team at Hudson Landing has been my absolute favorite, they are truly superb! This building has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years, so it’s not spanking new and, of course, it isn’t perfect. That said, the new management has been working diligently on renovations and really improving the tenant experience. There are exciting projects in the works meant to elevate the living experience even further. As a long-standing tenant, I’m very pleased with the direction they’re taking and the effort they’re putting in. Trust me when I say the management here before Hudson Landing was HORRIBLE (and that is not an understatement). Hudson Landing has been doing their best to undo that damage and go above and beyond, and it truly shows.Living in a New York City rental isn’t just about the four walls of your apartment, it’s also about the community and the people who make it feel like home. The staff here are some of the friendliest and hardest-working people you’ll meet. They really care about you as a person, you’re not just another number. They make sure you feel valued, happy, and comfortable in your space. The building itself is always well taken care of, super clean and kept to high standards. The apartments are gorgeous, and the location couldn’t be better. You’re close enough to everything, work, restaurants, social life, while still tucked away from the chaos of tourist traps.A big shoutout to my favorite staff: Jason, Jesus, Ithelwill, Victor, Marty, and Frank. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with beautiful apartments, amazing staff, and a management team that genuinely cares, Hudson Landing is where you want to be.
August 27 · Carolina ZapataVictor from the maintenance team is amazing! The building itself is fine and needs renovation. AC in the gym is bad and the gym is always too hot. Front desk staff like Jason are 10000/10. So nice and so helpful. Great people on the front desk. Building manager Marty is also good to interact with.
July 12 · Gayatri ChoudhuryThis place is garbage! RENTERS UNION NEEDED!I have lived here for 2 years now, and the quality of life has consistently decreased.Aside from the terrible noise from the cars backed up for the Lincoln tunnel almost all the time, the owners keep making decisions to turn this place into a borderline slumlord residence, and things have not gotten any better since the new owners took over. They are doing the same things the old ones did.The elevators are always broken down, causing VERY long lines to form. People have told me that they had to wait nearly an hour just to get up to their apartment after work. Some times all the elevators are even completely out of order for a whole day. Each year they have done work on the pipes to decrease the flow of water in the faucets. The water pressure is about half what it was when I moved in. The work on the pipes also causes a massive amount of rust and garbage to come out with the water after they do the work. This destroys any fixtures (like a decent showerhead) which they refuse to fix.It is very noticeable that the water takes much longer to get hot in the winter than last year too. This likely has something to do with the work they have done to decrease the functionality of the pipes. The air conditioning is also not working nearly as well as previously. They tried to blame it on the heat, but it is just as weak on days that are 20 degrees cooler. They have increased the fee to use the amenities, and turned it from being "per-apartment" into "per-person". Can you believe the despicable greed?! They even put up this ugly advertising display case which completely blocks out the windows of the lounge, making it feel more dark and closed off. They did it to try to peddle off items in a desperate attempt to leech more money out of the tenants.I could go on and on, but you get the picture. The owners are pushing as close to slum lords as they can, and doing it in a sleazy, weasely way.Personally I am starting to look into a RENTERS UNION for this place.
