Thankfully, I contacted the attorney general a few weeks before my move out and they were effective in resolving my issue and my full security deposit was returned to me. Otherwise, the apartment spaces are nice and the maintenance team are very kind and respond to repair requests quickly!

It’s located in a great location in front of Turnure park, close and walkable to the gym at Planet Fitness and downtown White Plains. Overall had a great experience here.

In hindsight, we were quite impressed.Initially, we balked at the price of our apartment for the space we were renting; however, we got to meet some of the tenants, who told us quite candidly that this building was a nice place to live with nice people and good management. We agree. Additionally, when we renewed our lease, DeRosa raised our rent by only 2%; meaning that given the rising inflation, we were essentially paying less in Year 2!The access to Turnure Park across the street was a lovely way to unwind after work/school. The cherry blossoms in the spring are positively stunning. My only regret is missing the festival that apparently never returned to the park, but I obviously do not blame DeRosa for that.The inside of our building was pleasant, air conditioned, and quiet. Most importantly, it was clean. The only vermin issue we had in the two years living in our apartment was a single mouse, which was promptly taken care of. Otherwise, aside from the occasional spider, we lived without fear of infestation.There were, however, two issues to consider. First, the laundry room. The price of doing laundry was rather high and the machines were not always operable. These conditions made for some frustrating laundry days.Second, the elevator. In our final months living in our building, we found the inoperability of the elevator to be immensely frustrating. Moving out of our apartment was a difficult task; pushing the button for the ground floor did not guarantee that it would go to the ground floor, or any floor at all. In fact, none of the buttons worked as intended, and so we would often go on elevator rides of indefinite duration.That said, we enjoyed our stay and would generally recommend renting here. The management company is responsive to work orders; the buildings are kept clean, cool, and quiet; and the rent is quite agreeable, especially for White Plains.

Everything was fine after the building said I was being harassed when I complained. But unfortunately, after a year, I was harassed again. If anyone lived in this apartment and went through the same thing, please message me. The people are relatively nice people. My neighbor across from me was very nice. But the tenants below me were horrors. - sorry for the bad review. But people have to know.
