It has been a mistake to move here as my apartment has a major bug issue and all that’s been done is having an exterminator come every two weeks and not much has changed. I feel like things have gotten worse since the last time they came. I have recently heard from other tenants, similar stories about bug issues and I have now started to see them in the hallway this building is filthy. I feel like the hallways are not cleaned well enough and on a regular basis. Having recently moved in and after two months of being in my apartment, starting to notice a bug problem, I would think they’d wanna do something to fix the issue being a new tenant. I also have a neighbor who is a hoarder and they’re not doing anything about it, which I fear is where the bugs are coming from that side of my apartment that shares a wall with him has bugs. I definitely don’t think I will be renewing my lease when it is up after the year. I cannot live this way and I have a three year old has really taken a toll on her health and caused us to have severe allergies. I have been sick ever since moving into the apartment.

April 26 · Peter LeeI moved into West 96th Apartments with my partner and children in August 2021. Cannot speak more highly of the efficiency, attentiveness, and management of the building. We live in a two bedroom and two bath apartment and my partner has a disability. As a result, we asked the management to convert one of the bathrooms into an ADA compliant one complete with a standing shower, security bars and a higher toilet. Everything was accommodated extremely quickly, and any minor or major additional service we requested in the past year was attended to with the same kind of care. This is an extremely well run building that includes essential amenities (especially now that hybrid work is the norm): a beautiful rooftop terrace and modern office space including a glass enclosed seating area. The concierge and staff are wonderful!

The service and maintenance staff are very skilled and professional and always responsive. This is a well-run building because of the efforts of all of these folks. A bonus is being a block from the magnificent Central Park!
