Elevators are down again. We had no elevator service at all for part of Sunday… and down to one elevator for most of the weekend and today, constantly waiting over 20mins each way. This has been the constant situation for over a year. It’s not only a huge inconvenience, but it’s an importantant healthcare consideration in case you were to need urgent medical assistance.

He's consistently helpful with various inquiries and package handling.Recently, Adrian took on a new role and continued to impress. He thoroughly explained all the move-out options, including the cleaning service, making the process much clearer and easier to navigate.The entire staff at Avalon Clinton is known for being super nice and helpful. Adrian is a standout example of their excellent service. He and the team will certainly be missed!

EDITED 1/22/25 - I have to drastically reduce my rating, due in no small part to the administration. We have 373 units, and consistently only have one working elevator, and they refuse to give rent concessions. The number of times I've been late for work, or my dog has had an accident because an elevator literally takes 10+ minutes to come are innumerable. My husband was stuck in a rattling elevator he feared would freefall because it was under so much stress from being the only working elevator for MONTHS. They charge $100 a month for a broken down gym they never fix. They send email after email threatening the people who keep smoking weed in the stairwells, but never do anything about it. They keep sneaking in additional fees into our leases which raise the rent by hundreds of dollars every 6 months. The only saving grace here is the concierge, who truly go above and beyond for you and empathize with you having to deal with their greedy employers. Treat your residents right, Avalon. What you offer is not worth what we pay.----------------------------------------------------------------------------I stalked this building for a solid year until the perfect apartment was available. Once my fiancé and I toured there was no other place we wanted to live. Sarah (who sadly no longer works here) was UNbelievable with how helpful and kind she was. She even hand wrote us a note when we moved in that said “I’m so happy this day has finally come”, and so were we!We joke with our friends that we have a tv sitcom apartment. The kind of apartment you can’t really believe regular people in nyc can have. Our view is so beautiful (as is the view from the roof!) and working from home has been a breeze. Our neighbors are friendly and respectful (and always willing to let us pet their dogs!) The concierge are always helpful and welcoming and on dozens of occasions Adrian and Miguel C. in particular have both gone ABOVE and beyond for us. In buildings so big for them to even remember our names is one of the things that make us love Avalon so much. And our cat Potato does too!

Love living at Avalon Clinton! This is the second place I’ve lived in NYC and I couldn’t be happier. The apartments are solid construction, so extremely quiet and I never hear my neighbors. Anytime I’ve needed a maintenance issue taken care of, it’s done in less than 24 hours. (In most cases, almost immediately.) The concierge guys, however, are what make it. Shout out to Adrian who takes care of everything, even when I’m not expecting it! Rodney and Miguel on the weekends are also a joy. Avalon makes it easy and comfortable to live in NYC. Highly recommend. I’m also a meteorologist so the breathtaking sky views are a huge bonus!
