We are appalled at Rebecca Zeng's unprofessional, egregious behavior. Do NOT work with her.We were shown a rental home in Southborough MA by her that was in horrendous condition. The previous tenants things were still all over the home, literal garbage was laying in the yard, rotting pumpkins on the porch in February, missing smoke detectors, hanging wires, filthy carpeting, etc. We had already said 'no' to this home due to the awful condition. Yet, Rebecca texted us again a week later and asked us to reconsider if the homeowner replaced the flooring and agreed to get the home in move in condition. We then foolishly agreed to apply because the home owner agreed to get this home up to move in condition, yet she insisted we sign a lease without ever seeing the property again in said updated and safe condition, nor agreed to add an addendum putting in writing the agreed upon items to be fixed before we move in. How is this too much to ask? Rebecca sent a message to our realtor stating it was crazy we would ask for these reassurances. And on top of it she then insulted us and our realtor by telling us we were wasting her time. Wow. We have two children. Both with special needs. Talk about wasting someone's time. She wasted our time by this ridiculous process. No well-minded person would sign a lease before seeing a property in move in condition or at least have something in writing to the agreed upon items. The home didn't even have proper smoke alarms for safety, trash literally laying in the yard and the prior tenants items all over the house! We weren't asking for anything unreasonable here. Would you rent a property and sign a lease without seeing it first in move in agreed upon condition? Surely you are smarter than that. As are we. We have excellent rental history and are more than qualified to rent that property. She is rude, unprofessional and lazy.

I placed a deposit for a move in date of May 1, it was not until I inquired a couple days before move-in that I was told the apartment would not be ready (first red flag).I was told I could get my deposit back if we decided to move in a different direction. After learning that the apartment would not be ready I asked for it back. Almost a month later and I have not received anything.It’s always a new excuse, the check got lost in the mail, waiting for the check to clear, or my bank account is disabled. I’m pretty sure this business is a scam and they take you’re money and invest it. Do not trust. Will be perusing legal action.

Although I was able to get an apartment through them, the process was a bit disorganized and I had some issues with the broker.1. The broker was generally nice but on the day of the lease signing when I called ahead of time to say I'd be late to the signing because the bank line was long (due to covid), the broker got upset saying "I expected you to be here at 11am" and immediately hung up on me. He called me back to get my ETA but did not address the fact that he was extremely rude just minutes earlier.2. I did not get my keys at the lease signing which made me very uncomfortable. Only after I signed the lease was I told that I'd have to go get the keys from the building manager. I had to wait for the broker to email me the building manager's contact later on that day, I contacted the manager he seemed surprised someone was calling for their keys and told me the apartment wasn't ready for me to move in until 5-6 days after my lease was supposed to start and I'd get the keys then. Thank goodness I had flexibility in my move-in date and could accommodate that but the process was starting to feel like I got scammed.I was able to get my keys and move in but the process was just messy.
