Dealing with the Management (Ogden CAP) in this building (Normandie Court) is the worst experience I have had anywhere Ive ever lived. They are non-responsive, rude, ridiculously bureaucratic and pretty sly.To move a single sofa into the building has been a total nightmare, moving in in general...practically impossible.They have consistently told us the elevators will be done soon, or in a month...and now many months later.... nothing. And nothing to compensate for it. When I renewed my lease this time, I expected the 3 months gym membership they gave the last time I renewed for the elevator nonsense. But once I renewed, and the elevators still are not working properly, they have REFUSED to give the 3 months that they gave before.They have now resorted to taking their phone off the hook or something because all day, every day, it rings busy lol. Too many complaints I guess.Who knew you needed to schedule a move-in multiple days in advance, via an email back and forth for over 2 days complete with insane insurance demands for a single object...Also, when I wanted to move into an apartment in the other Normandie building when my lease was OVER, (225 to 215), they told me I had to find someone else to start the new lease before I could sign the lease for the other building. As I had to this within a few weeks...that was impossible. If I wanted to move to a different unit when my lease was over, I should have been able to do that. Isnt it their job to find someone to fill their unit if I want to move? So I had to stay in this unit, and our elevators still dont work. And I dont get the gym pass.Why? Id love this building if the management didnt make it impossible to do anything in. It has great potential. Just find actual humans to run it.
