Construction still continues each night and weekend on 97-11 63 Drive Unit C5Dear ManagementI am now writing to provide an in-depth list of the occurrences that should have already been attended to:The unit (Apt. C5) has been undergoing heavy construction since April 2020; it can be heard every night and weekend despite NYC law dictating that cooperative apartments must undergo construction within the time frame of 9am-5pm on weekdays and must not continue for an extended period of time.I have reported their renovations numerous times. I have kindly spoken to the tenants themselves. Construction still continues each night and weekend.It appears that they may be renovating the apartment to add additional rooms; their studio is not enough space for their large household. Although this is understandable, it should not completely prevent my wife and I from having a life.The renovations have completely prevented my wife and I from having a decent night’s sleep ever since it started. Much of the time when such loud noises occur, we are unsure if it is something that is putting our life at risk. We now both suffer from anxiety; getting woken up suddenly with no explanation or warning by an inhumanely loud noise has been severely detrimental our mental health.On July 21,2020 we began experiencing leaking water in our apartment; I have already previously emailed videos proving this fact to which no solution has been presented or suggested.On this day, I immediately notified to Management as well as the Super. The Super and his entire family came into both my apartment and apartment C5 to inspect the leakage. Despite this, no action was taken.My wife has been having skin problems from cleaning up this leaking substance. After consultation with her doctor, she has been prescribed medicine to which she is still taking today.Starting next month, I will no longer be paying the maintenance fee of $414.00 in order to pay for a hotel room to stay at. I will continue to do so until an acceptable solution is provided.I have already waited patiently for months. If this email is still being treated without priority and my situation continues to be neglected, I will be considering hiring a lawyer to sue both Medallion Real Estate as well as the tenants of apartment C5.Thank you,
