Compass Real Estate - Williamsburg Reviews
Just finished up my lease from a compass listing. Our apartment was still under construction when we signed and it was advertised to us as a 3 bathroom but ended up being a 2.5 bathroom, which was revealed to us when we moved in after signing our lease. Additionally it ended up finishing construction a couple weeks into our lease. Although the latter issue was a landlord problem, I wish a "trusted" realty company like compass would have vetted the landlords they work with better. That being said the application process was smooth.
July 31 · Matthew AskariThe Industry team - Specifically Steven, Mike & David were great help in getting us acquainted with our new property. They were available nearly immediately for a showing, and made the process of renting smooth!I have to commend them for the service they provided, even going on literally zero information from the management company we're renting from. Even though the management company of our building turned out to be terrible, nobody knew how bad Hello Living truly is. It takes a lot of experience to work with crappy management companies, and these guys did a great job of it!Thanks again to the Compass Industry team, will definitely be contacting them again once our lease here is up!
July 02 · Nick O'ConnorMy fiancé and I lost time trying to purchase a condo in NJ, before the birth of our baby girl. We needed a much bigger space for a baby.I came across the most unprofessional real estate agents in Brooklyn who were (late, no shows, no call, unresponsive) and quiet frankly, I just didn't want to work with.I reached out to Troy Saunders and Christian Cunningham of Compass Realty for help. Gave them a list of requirements to be met, price range, preferred neighborhood and a timeframe of two weeks max to view apartments, negotiate and sign lease.Troy and Christian more than delivered- they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They were on-time for every viewing, VERY responsive and on top of everything. Both had extensive industry knowledge of the neighborhoods, property mgmt company/groups, and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Basically hand-holding me through the ENTIRE process and what to expect.Christian and Troy went to bat for me through the negotiation process when I was told prior by others "the price, is the price". I was super impressed by the professionalism, and transparency of this transaction. They found us a place that checked all the boxes and within ONE WEEK, finalized paperwork, negotiation etc., just a few days later lease was executed.THANK YOU TROY & CHRISTIAN...!!!
November 07 · Debbie KabirWas no-call no-showed by Naxhi, who then—after I called him from the place we were supposed to meet, having left work early and gone an hour out of my way to do this—told me he had found out earlier that morning that the unit had been rented (it’s still up on every site, so that’s a lie). And then, despite me being fairly polite about the whole thing, he hung up on me. Rude and unprofessional.
March 22 · Carolyn HansonThey gentrify neighborhoods. If you see a compass sign up on my in your neighborhood, get ready for an influx of people who have no sense of community.
