Located in a rapidly redeveloping section of downtown New Rochelle, 25 Maple is a seven-story, mixed-use building that offers a collection of 184 residential units. Completed in recent years, it represents a new era of living in the area, providing contemporary residences and a host of amenities designed to foster a balanced and comfortable lifestyle. The building's design, with its contemporary take on oversized windows, masonry facades, and metal accents, brings a fresh and stylish aesthetic to the neighborhood. The apartments themselves are designed with a focus on a sense of natural calm, featuring modern finishes and premium fixtures. The development caters to the growing demand for transit-oriented housing, placing residents in a prime spot for both work and play, with easy access to all that New Rochelle and the greater New York City metro area have to offer.
The core concept behind 25 Maple is to create a community where residents can not only live but also connect, collaborate, and relax. The building's shared spaces are crafted to be extensions of the individual apartments, offering residents additional venues for socializing and recreation. From the well-designed lobby to the expansive rooftop deck, every area is created with a purpose. While it presents an appealing list of features on paper, a full understanding requires a look at both the advertised highlights and the real-world experiences of those who live there, as highlighted in public reviews.

When considering a new apartment, especially in the competitive New York market, it is essential to weigh the pros and cons to determine what is truly worth choosing. 25 Maple offers many compelling features, but it is important for prospective renters to understand the full picture.
On the positive side, the building is a new, clean, and modern construction with an impressive list of amenities. Reviews indicate that the building itself is quiet and well-maintained, and that the receptionist team and maintenance staff are helpful. The location is excellent for commuters and offers a high degree of walkability. The in-unit washer and dryer, along with other high-end finishes, are significant conveniences.
However, feedback from some residents suggests a variety of experiences related to management, noise, and parking. Some have noted concerns with management being uncooperative or unresponsive, and one review specifically mentions a rude new manager. Another resident's experience with hearing stomping from a neighbor highlights potential issues with soundproofing. The parking situation has also been a point of contention, with some residents noting a lack of available spots in the garage despite a paid fee, leading to frustration. Additionally, one resident found the apartment to be too small for the price, with loud AC units and a concern about potential mold.
Ultimately, what is worth choosing depends on a renter's priorities. For those who value a new, clean building with a wide array of amenities and a fantastic location for commuting, 25 Maple may be an appealing option. For those who prioritize responsive management, a quiet environment, and guaranteed parking, it is recommended to conduct a thorough on-site visit, speak with current residents, and ask specific questions about the issues raised in reviews to ensure the apartment meets their expectations.

I have lived here for the past two years. The building is clean and quiet. The apartment is quiet but too small for its price, and the AC units are very loud and don’t stand cold weather. The management is very uncooperative and less professional. They ignored my paper requests and charged me for a fake failed check after I moved out.I rate it three stars because the receptionist team and maintenance are good. Otherwise, I would rate it with two stars.
May 08 · Ahmed “Sheffield Biker”Where do I begin. When I first moved here I was told they were updating concierge hours because this building no one is here at night. They did but they now leave 930 pm on a good day. Even when some are here they aren’t even at the desk.2) I can hear my neighbor at 2 am stomping and it’s been a constant issue that hasn’t resolved even upon speaking to management.3) PARKING I PAY 160 for parking. If I get into the garage after 11pm for some reason there’s no parking spots I brought it up to management because obviously something isn’t adding up and their new manager who is rude by the way had the nerve to write me back a snarky response. You all need to evaluate the parking spots because half of them are so tiny I don’t even expect a car to fit in there so stop selling parking passes there’s no space.4) I have a family illness and management thought they were being smart by trying to play me with their lease term end agreement. Honestly I just want out of here management is crap don’t bother moving here. David is a joke.5) honestly there’s no amenities here like that gym closes at 11 there’s barely ever wipes to clean the equipment6) whenever I go away there’s always mold the accumulates in shower? I’m going to be testing this apartment for mold because it just doesn’t make sense if this is not an old building.7) rent is like 2500 you can find somewhere betterJust don’t bother I regret signing a 2 year lease I am ready to just end my lease counting down the days. Good luck on your apartment searches
September 12 · MoniqueThe biggest flaw with this building is hearing your neighbors above you. I was told by Pam lease manager the apartments were soundproof but the ceiling spacing doesn't do justice. Its annoying to hear your neighbor walking around their apartment late at night or early morning before the sun rises.Update I had cancelled my lease & moved out, I couldn't deal with the noise from the neighbor above me. In the process my Verizon FiOS cost me $700. When I moved in Day 1 of building open to the tenants, I had FiOS installed. The problem was the ethernet port wasn't compatible with Verizon and it was only accessible in the kitchen. The tech drilled a hole in the kitchen cabinet to ensure I have it set up with my own modem in the living room. 3 yrs later to found out from a different Verizon Technician the building is not wired properly. If he had installed it he would of gave me a wireless router in the kitchen. Verizon does damage claim, it best to let management know so they can assist with the claim.
August 14 · Kwesi WatsonI lived in this building for 1 1/2 years.and was one of the early move ins. I had a studio that I used for occasional use only and it was jut great!. There were some issues that the building had early on but they were eventually fixed. My needs and I was going to spend more time there so I needed a larger space, and I moved to a 1BR. It was the model apartment and I was the 1st tenant. I had 3 leaks under the kitchen sink that returned after each repair. I lost all the paper towels and zip locks etc, with no compensation offered when asled.I was told that the pipes are somewhat fragile and I need to be careful not to knock in to them when accessing things. ( I had the same pipes in the studio and never had a leak)The washing machine only worked with hot water( I only use cold) and it took months to coordinate an appointment with the plumber due to my schedule. We did have 2 different appointments with the plumber and each time he was a no show and could not be reached. We finally got a date and he discovered that the cold water line was never connected to the machine. When the problem was identified the plumber said” in all my years of doing this I’ve never seen this! “ Although we were given laundry cards while waiting for the repair, it was inconvenient to not use an amenity that we were paying for. They would not give us any credit because they said it was our fault that our schedules could not coordinate !( remember, he didn’t show up or cancel 2 appointments, but that was OK)At a later date the then building manager Lindsay Walker stated that” we are at the mercy of our vendors”!!The sun brightly shined through oversized windows in this “luxury building “ but they were beyond filthy because the apartment faced the front. I have never lived any where with dirty windows.I inquired about having them washed but that was not an option. This was a non smoking building but the smell of pot was always present. Despite repeated emails and threats of lease termination, it was obvious that it was a situation that could not be controlled. Another quote of the then building manager was” it’s like being the principal of a high school”I do not think that basic things like proper plumbing, clean windows and not smelling pot is asking too much of any building, let alone one advertised as “ luxury.Everyone has their own standards of living and the experiences I had at 25 Maple Avenue were below mine!
June 06 · Susan MoskowitzA Truly Caring Community at 25 MapleInitially, I had a hard time getting in touch with the leasing team at 25 Maple, which I later realized was due to a system issue. I even left a negative review out of frustration. But after moving in recently, my experience has completely turned around—and I genuinely feel compelled to share how great it’s been. From day one, the staff has been exceptional. Tristen, at the front desk, is incredibly friendly—he somehow remembers everyone’s name, which says a lot about the community here. David, the property manager, went out of his way to accommodate me. I needed to move in on a Sunday (which normally isn’t allowed), and despite having personal commitments, he stayed over an hour late on a Friday evening to help me sign the lease, set up utilities with Con Edison, and walk me through every step of the process. When I moved in, my refrigerator wasn’t working. The moment I reported it, there were no delays or red tape—they simply replaced it with a brand-new one. Every other small maintenance issue I raised was handled promptly and professionally by the maintenance team. What really stood out to me is how genuine and approachable everyone is. Unlike other high-rises in New Rochelle where I found the customer service lacking, the team at 25 Maple made me feel welcome right away. Tristen even followed up on my initial review—he called just to check in and make sure everything was okay. That level of care is rare.I’m confident I made the right decision choosing 25 Maple. The staff here are more than just employees—they feel like friends already. Looking forward to a great year ahead!
