MOVED IN 2005 MOVED OUT 2022 ! all I can say is don't break your neck to move here, from my experience i have lived in many of their buildings due to faulty apts. And from reading all the other reviews and complaints NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNLESS DOB, OR HUD takes things seriously. This is one company I will say FRAUD WAS LITERALLY DONE TO ME AND SHOWN TO MY FACE MANY OF TIMES, IDK BUT THERE IS A PLACE CALLED C.G.I look them up they tried to help me and at a time they did help me look into them if u read this, start your own petition go to court what I've learned is star realty will try and take you to court on false information this the part I find suspicious like whom do they have working in the landlord Tenant court sector IF YOU CAN ALWAYs GET YOUR OWN LAWYER it will help you out, some of the legal aids work with the very company you are going against so be mindful. They don't pay you back for damages their water leaks may occur in your home, the manager of maintenance SUCKS HIS NAME MANNY HE IS THE DEFINITION OF FRAUD! HE CAUSED ALL MY SONS MEMORIES TO BE DAMAGED N I HOPE HE SEE THIS OR SOMEONE FROM STAR REALTY WHO CARES. I keep calling and no maintenance is being done made holes in ceiling with air conditioners that they decided to put in water is leaking out of ! I call and a nasty Ms. Smith answers the phone and does nothing and her manager never answers the phone and his voice mail is full. Make a complaint to 311 let the city handle them!

This place is I guess not conducting through back ground checks but when Realtors work with slum lords what is there to expect. I do not know whom owes this real estate money but it is not the individual they are trying to accuse. Maybe you shouldn’t deal with crooked greedy landlords and if you are going to check back check and cross check tenants for the same fire building owners they are just as tricky and fraudulent

One of the workers is something else and it's a woman she said to sign on a dotted line and send it back but I didn't see it, I also told her that I'm longer interested in getting an apartment bc I already had my own place. SMDH
