Q Realty Group Introduce
Q Realty Group is a real estate agency with an address in the Park Slope/Gowanus area of Brooklyn. The provided information classifies it as a real estate agency, with services that include A/C and heating information for properties and a connection to a multiple listing service. The location on 4th Avenue places it in a high-density area of Brooklyn that is seeing extensive development, offering a blend of residential and commercial properties. While the firm appears to be a real estate agency based on its name and address, public reviews raise serious questions about its operations, particularly concerning property management and tenant relations. It is important for potential clients to consider these details carefully. The firm’s offerings, as described in available data, seem to be those of a standard real estate brokerage, focusing on connecting properties with buyers and renters.
The New York real estate market is known for its competitiveness and the need for a high level of professional conduct. A real estate agency's reputation is a critical factor in its success. In the case of Q Realty Group, a number of public reviews from individuals who claim to have been clients or neighbors provide a different perspective. These reviews contain allegations of poor service, unresponsiveness, and questionable business practices. The information suggests that while the company may present itself as a real estate agency, its operational reality for some clients may involve significant challenges. Potential users of this agency's services, especially those in the local New York market, would be well-advised to conduct thorough due diligence and look beyond the basic company information.
Q Realty Group is located at 500 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215. This address is in a strategically important part of Brooklyn, situated on a major thoroughfare that separates the Park Slope and Gowanus neighborhoods. The area is highly accessible and well-served by New York City's public transportation system. The 4 Avenue-9 Street subway station, which serves the D, N, R, F, and G lines, is just a short walk away. This provides excellent connectivity to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. The area is also considered a "walker's paradise" and "rider's paradise" due to its high walkability and world-class transit, making it convenient for clients to visit the office.
The location itself, at 500 4th Avenue, is a modern residential building. Being situated within a residential building is not uncommon for a real estate or property management company, as it places them in direct proximity to the market they serve. The building is known for its amenities and is a prominent structure on the avenue. However, public reviews mention that the firm seems to operate in a manner that is difficult to pin down, with one neighbor suggesting it is a "sham company" that hides behind a generic email address. This makes it challenging for people to physically and professionally interact with the firm, despite the seemingly accessible address. The physical location is a key part of the firm's identity, but the public information suggests that its accessibility is questionable in practice for some who have tried to contact them.
Based on the available data, Q Realty Group provides a limited set of services that appear to be focused on residential real estate and are related to property management.
A/C and Heating Services: The firm's service list specifically mentions A/C and heating, which suggests a role in property maintenance and management. This is often a part of a landlord's responsibilities to tenants.
Multiple Listing Service (MLS): As a real estate agency, Q Realty Group provides access to a multiple listing service. An MLS is a database of properties for sale or rent, which is a fundamental tool for brokers to market and find properties for their clients.
It is important to note that public reviews cast a negative light on the execution of these services. Allegations state that the company is unresponsive to tenant complaints about repairs, including a ceiling leak. This suggests a significant disconnect between the advertised services and the actual customer experience for some clients. The reviews also claim that the company is slow to respond to requests and that contact is often difficult, with calls allegedly being screened and emails going unanswered.
Public reviews and data suggest several features and highlights, though they are presented as concerns rather than positive attributes.
Alleged Lack of Responsiveness: Multiple reviews highlight a significant issue with the company's communication. It is claimed that the firm screens calls, ignores emails, and takes an excessive amount of time to address maintenance issues, even those that are serious.
Questionable Business Practices: One review describes the company as a "scam" and alleges that a security deposit was held for an extended period without a valid reason. The reviewer claims that despite leaving the apartment in perfect condition, the firm would not return the deposit.
Lack of Transparency: Public information points to a lack of transparency within the company. A reviewer notes that the firm's website does not list any agents, and that the phone number is unresponsive, stating they are closed for Passover in February, even though the holiday is in March.
Potential for Misleading Information: A reviewer who is a neighbor of one of their buildings states that no one in the building seems to know who the company is and that the property is not well-maintained. This suggests that the firm may operate in a manner that is difficult to track or verify.
These features, while not a positive reflection of the business, are a critical part of the available public data and should be considered by anyone looking to engage with Q Realty Group.
For all inquiries, you can use the following contact information.
Address: 500 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215, USA
Phone: (718) 768-3000
Mobile Phone: +1 718-768-3000
However, it is worth noting that public reviews raise questions about the reliability of these contact methods, with claims of unresponsiveness and a lack of transparency.
When considering a real estate or property management company in New York, it is essential to conduct thorough research, and the public information for Q Realty Group presents a number of serious red flags. While the location and the listed services may seem appealing on the surface, the detailed negative reviews from multiple sources should be a major deterrent for any potential client. The allegations of unreturned security deposits, unaddressed maintenance issues, and a general lack of professionalism and communication suggest that engaging with this firm could lead to significant problems. In a market as dynamic and competitive as New York's, there are numerous other real estate agencies with established reputations for ethical conduct and reliable service. Choosing a firm that is transparent, responsive, and has a strong record of positive client relationships is paramount. Based on the available public data, Q Realty Group appears to be a risky choice for anyone looking for a reliable and professional real estate partner in Brooklyn.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY!!! My boyfriend I had lived there for 3+ years. We moved out in November 2024 and still waiting on our security deposit. They will screen your calls and not return emails. We have tried calling numerous times and they will pick up the phone and not speak. We are going on over 40days with them holding our security deposit. On top of that they don’t fix anything in the apartment when you call and take weeks to get back to you!!! Groome company and the Realtor Leo will get you looped in and will not answer and call back either to help resolve these issues. This company is a scam!! We left the apartment in perfect condition and provided videos to them at move out that the apartment was left. They way we got it besides a stain on the wood floors from leak in the ceiling that they would not fix! If I could less than one star I would.
January 10 · destinee stolzI own a townhome next to one of their buildings and I am nearly positive this is some sort of a sham company. If anyone has any info on anyone who works here or the company itself, please respond! I have to email a random "info" email address which this 'company' hides behind do not take care of their building or the trash. I have reported them to every NYC agency imaginable. No one who lives in the building seems to know who they are. Some guys come take care of the trash every once in a while. I have asked who they work for and they dont even know. The phone number listed on their website says they are closed for Passover now until April! But today is February 17th and Passover begins at the end of March. I would caution anyone from renting or buying or dealing with this company in general. If you look at their website, they do not list any agents. Their prices and properties do not reflect realistic New York real estate market. Any other information greatly appreciated!
February 17 · Meg O'MalleyLiterally the absolute WORST realty group I’ve ever dealt with. We had the displeasure of living in one of their units for a year. Our A/C wasn’t working from May to the Middle of July. Our “landlord” Abe wouldn’t respond to emails, purposefully ignore our calls like a child, and put NO effort in getting the issue resolved until we physically went up to the office and told him we would not pay rent until the problem got fixed. Miraculously, after that visit, he was able to get someone out to us to get it fixed. After three months of hounding him. Furthermore, any time we needed to get in touch with someone at the office, they never had anyone working, so our calls would go unanswered and unreturned. When it can time to move out (cause there was no way in hell we would live there another year even if someone were to pay us to) he wouldn’t answer questions about our deposit and any of the finalizing things we needed to move out. The day of when we were moving (on a Monday) no one was answering the door of the office for us to return our keys. We called over 10 times and stood in the rain for over 20 minutes ringing the bell and even though the lights were all on, no one was answering. We were moving out of state, so we had to get it done that day. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend you living ANYWHERE else that’s not related to the Q Realty group. Now we wait to hear what excuses they have for trying to rip us off from our deposit. Little do they know we have a detailed video of how we left the apartment -how we found it, in perfect condition- and all of our pay stubs from paying rent on time and even early in most cases. I literally never leave reviews, so this goes to show how strongly we feel about letting the public know to avoid these people!!!
February 22 · Tatiana CheekOne of the worst management companies I have EVER had to deal with. Generally and grossly incompetent, they respond to requests/problems when they feel like it, if at all. If you're looking for a smooth and informed realty group, keep looking.
