My husband and started renting from them in the beginning of March. I don’t have the energy to tell my story in its entirety, but the first unit we were placed in had no clean hot water. We were there for roughly 3 weeks, at the beginning of the pandemic living with no clean hot water. They refused to fix it. That was around the time my marriage started falling apart. When we moved into the apartment we were originally set to rent, things were ok at first. It wasn’t long before sewage started backing up into our bathtub. That would happen about once a week. Again they refused to fix the underlying plumbing issues. Eventually they did fix the problem, after many unanswered emails and texts. By that point our carpet was soaked with sewage. They didn’t offer to have it cleaned, instead my husband cleaned it himself. They have consistently ignored our pleas for help. These people are slum lords. The only thing they care about is money. Do not trust them. Now I’m moving in the midst of a pandemic and I’m getting divorced. My new union could not withstand the stress these people put us through, unfortunately. Also, any review with the name “Tsunis” is a farce, that is the family’s surname.

Should have no stars! Moved in March 15, 2022 to 1256 n country Rd, Stony Brook. Was told it would be 3 years before the bldg would be updated. My complaints started immediately. Carpets were filthy, told they'd be cleaned until lease was signed. stove top unusable, oven itself off by at least 50°. No screens or storm windows in any windows. No matinence if any kind, regardless of how many requests are made. Sept 11, 2022 part of the property was condemned, including the space we used as a mailroom. Most ppl were thrown out of the bldg with no where to go. Mostly women & children. Some remain in that bldg were told "stay at their own risk" as the bldg is condemned & nothing would be repaired or maintained going further. Ppl didn't get security back. Pet friendly property, yet no place to walk dogs. When I complained that the walkway had no lights as I was told while being shown my apt, I was then told that the entire walkway wasn't apart of my lease. In Nov I had my refrigerator replaced after losing several hundred dollars worth of food in the freezer, not with a new refrigerator but with one from the condemned bldg & while the prop mgr watched, the maintenance man not only spoke poorly about me & other tenants he also stole from me on video. I did bring it to both the property mgr & maintenance man's attn, & was told it was elevated to upper management which I highly doubt because nothing else was ever said to me. For sale signs went up without a word to the remaining tenants 3 weeks ago & today, 12/27/22 I was given notice that they won't be renewing by lease for no reason what's so ever. Beware of northwind. They destroy anything they touch. Was told 3 years until they make it a "luxury development", 6 months later half the property is condemned, 9 months later I'm being told their not renewing my lease & happy holidays! In Nov he went into my apt to replace a refrigerator which he got from the condemned bldg, brought in a maintenance man who spoke poorly about myself & other tenants, he stole from me on cameras & in front of Jake. I reached out to both & was told it was elevated to upper management but I doubt that because like everything else, nothing was said about it. They do not return phone calls and do not correct their installation errors.Their only interest is in selling more condos. They are not concerned with workmanship or the people who are buying their homes. I would never purchase from them again.
