Maximillion Realty made me lose $1100 and everything happened in less than a month.Maximillion Realy listed a house for sale. We went to see it (Tues Jan 9)and was told the first floor will be delivered vacant and second floor will need 2 months to leave after closing. We were ok with this so we submitted an offer the next day (Wed Jan 10) which they accepted (Thurs Jan 11). We exchanged attorney information so they can send us the contract. Meanwhile we saw the house again (Sun Jan14) and inspection done next day (Mon Jan15). Inspection report came (Tues Jan16). We tried to get some repairs done based on report but seller agent said they are selling as is but agreed to a credit. We were fine with that. My attorney finally received a contract late Thurs afternoon Jan18. I say finally because between Tues Jan16 and Thurs Jan18, the seller agent is making threats about how she has other buyers and if we are dragging feet she will sell to someone else. I am not sure how we are “dragging feet” when everything is already happening so fast and WE were waiting on THEM for the contract. Just unnecessary and rude. Tues Jan23 we meet with our attorney to go over the contract and send back our revisions. Again it was another unnecessary comment from the seller agent saying it was a lot of revisions. Not that it’s any of her business but why would we not make revisions to a contract that wasn’t protecting us? Did she think we were going to just sign the contract? Silly. Our attorney sends over the revisions and we are waiting to hear back, knowing they will probably have revisions too before we officially sign. Thurs Jan25, i received a call from our attorney’s office. They said most of revisions they accepted however they added something new… that we have to accept the tenants in the sale. Excuse me? We were told first floor will be delivered vacant, that is why we put in an offer. I said absolutely not, we only want the house if it’s delivered vacant with the 2nd floor leaving 2 months later. When asked, the seller agent said they are now “negotiating with the tenant to leave”. Backtracking on their part now I see. We would never have put in an offer if the tenants were staying. We would not have done an inspection if the tenants were staying. We would not have gone into contract phase with an attorney if tenants were staying. So now i am out $1100 for inspection and legal fees in less than a month because of their unprofessionalism and horrible business ethics. Crazy.Waste of our time, waste of my agents time.
