June 15 · Z JingDO NOT USE. NOT SAFE FOR ANIMALS. I used Hartz Ultra Guard Pro for cats on my HEALTHY, YOUNG (1.5 years old) male cat. Within seconds of hitting his body (between the shoulder blades at the base of the skull) he was jumping in pain, twitching and drooling uncontrollably. This product is NOT safe for animals and should be recalled and taken off the shelfs immediately. I am well aware some mild side effects may occur, but this was in no way, shape or form "mild." I had to wipe it off of him and while he calmed down, he is now lethargic and blinking non-stop. Shame on you, Hartz.
