I do not recognize the person described in the negative reviews, and I have worked with Francine Canion as my agent and as my building manager for more than 9 years,. The person I have worked with has always been thoroughly professional and pleasantly helpful.We have collaborated on three transactions. Francine sold my son an apartment in 2011 and is now listing/selling that apartment for me. Furthermore she is helping me buy another apartment in Manhattan. She is polite and thoughtful. I have never even heard Francine curse (even when we have been driving around NYC, when there are plenty of opportunities for foul language). I cannot even imagine abusive or offensive words coming from her mouth. She is quite the opposite.As the manager of 546 W 156th Street I have admired the way Ms. Canion has brought the property into financial balance. She is an exceptional money manager. Last year she had to replace the apartment house's heating system, but did so without having to assess the co-op shareholders to pay off the unusual expense. The building has been brought into the “black” so much so that banks will now underwrite mortgages on these HDFC apartments. This was no mean task given the original state of the co-op's finances.I would heartily recommend Francine Canion as as both a real estate agent and as a property manager.

If you want to deal with unprofessional people then canion is for you! If I didn't have to put a star I would!
