I’ve rented many apartments over the years and this is by far the worst management company I’ve ever had. They ignore you. Emails. Calls. Voicemails. They’ll never respond. They’ll scam you out of security deposit with reasons that they make up. Specifically in park slope, Brooklyn, there are so many other options to rent from. Stay away from any building managed by Werber management.

They'll scam you out of your money and say it's the agents fault but when I made my first deposit when the rent was at$1600 they took the apartment off the market. Why take it off the market if the deposit wasn't for the apartment ? I paid another deposit of $1700 because they raised it. They don't answer your emails or calls. If they do they will hit you with "that's not on us". They will gladly take your rent but won't respond to complaints. also the amount of screaming children is ridiculous. Some tenants are putting their kids outside their apartment and in the hallway if they throw a tantrum so everyone else is stuck hearing it. My upstairs neighbors are extremely loud. Toddler running back and forth all day. Random banging and their child screaming his head off. It literally sounds like the kid is in my apartment. save your money and go else where. They do not care about us tenants.
April 10 · Melanie SariDamar apartments has the laziest superintendents ever. Management does not respond to anything. Building is old and dirty and run down. Save your money and sleep in a homeless shelter where service is 10x better. Can’t wait until my lease is up so I can move out of this dump.
March 25 · Huntyr EscobarWerber Management and Real Estate did not alert tenants at its building 202 8th St. to two break-ins that took place on 9/28/20 and 10/1/20. I confirmed the break-ins with Sergeant Anthony DiMichelle of NYPD‘s 78th precinct, otherwise no information had been shared with me by Werber until 8 days after the crimes and only in response to my questions. It has now been 10 days since the first forced entry and Werber has not communicated the crimes to all the tenants in the 51 units. After I confirmed the forced entries with NYPD, Werber continues to evade answering my basic questions about the crimes, like what is the status of the police investigation. The person who broke into the building twice remains unidentified and on the loose. Werber said that adding a small metal plate to the door resolves the problem. It doesn’t.
