★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The building is beautiful, the staff are responsive & attentive, and love the community feel here. Been here 2 years and am leaving this review so hopefully the owners of the building realize that they need to address tenants living here that face the Moxy hotel. Since it's gone up, anyone on the side of building facing it is faced with loud music every Thurs-Sun (sometimes more) during the day AND nighttimes (it's a busy hotel) from May-October...6 months almost. I get that NYC can be loud and you have to deal with noise, but it's ridiculous when city quiet windows can fix the problem but they won't pay to make it more habitable.I'm sure other people will be quick to grab this spot because the location is amazing. However, there will continue to be turnover year after year if it isn't resolved. So if you do move in here, just double check which side you're facing! And I hope this can be fixed soon!
May 10 · Megan HartI just moved back to NYC and stayed the weekend at my friend’s apartment @ 146 S 4th. Beautiful apartment but the rooftop bar across from it was obnoxiously loud until after 3 am every night. I’m looking closer to the water in a quieter building.
May 06 · Natalie SiebersThe building is right next to the Moxy hotel. The music is ridiculously loud Wed-Sun 11am to 4am. It’s unlivable. The windows in the building are very cheap and many have lost their vacuum seal.
May 05 · JC NorthbearThere’s an overnight Black Lady at front desk who was rude when picking up my package. Being smart mouth for no reason. I need to get in contact with a supervisor or manager asap this is unacceptable
May 01 · David MBest views in the area! Great amenities and staff! The management company is always very helpful.
