Immac Realty was superb to work with! Cammi Marlin did a fantastic job helping us to find our apartment. Her overall knowledge of the city and all of it's specific neighborhoods was excellent. Since this was our first apartment we were filled with questions. Cammi was patient and helpful beyond compare. She is easy to get a hold of and make appointments with. Cammi guided us from the start of the process through the closing with expertise and care. We highly recommend her!
April 29 · Ellen ScottOur experience with this agency was disappointing. We felt the communication was lacking with poor response times and follow up. In fairness, the agent (Cammi) was dealing with a foot injury, flu, computer issue and out of town travel at various points during the time period we were trying to see a particular unit, get measurements and finalize the lease. After our application was finally approved, we obtained cashiers checks made out to ABC Realty in excess of $10,000 although we had concerns about the wording of the lease. While we were attempting to clarify the terms, they advised they accepted and approved another application but would notify us if it fell through. A week later, our real estate agent advised us the unit was STILL available but the “available date” was changed from immediate to mid-month despite the listing having been vacant and on the market for about 3 months. I am assuming in an attempt to make the unit look like a fresh listing to potential renters. I am not sure if it was a lack of honesty or lack of follow up that resulted in us wasting a lot of time and money on this property. Also, owning rental property myself, I hope the unit owner is aware that with more professional advocates, he or she could have had responsible, long-term tenants already in and paying rent for quite some time now. :(
