I have rented across multiple states, and this leasing office is, by far, the worst I’ve encountered. At the beginning of our lease, it took over a year for them to fix a bedroom window that was detached from the sash bed. The unit was also riddled with construction holes, which led to a recurring mouse problem. After we reported it, they sent an exterminator who simply placed rat poison in the holes and left. Given the competitive nature of NYC’s rental market, we stayed but had to spend our own money to seal the holes ourselves.The leasing office is incredibly unprofessional. Calling is futile—no one answers, there’s no voicemail, and emails go unanswered for weeks. There’s no automated message about closures or when they’ll resume service (which seems to happen frequently), so we’re left in the dark, often needing to chase them down. Maintenance of the overall properly is also lacking — At one point there were stray cats living in the basement of our building. I can go on and on, but I’d leave it here.This has easily been the most painful rental experience I have ever had, and I wouldn’t suggest renting from them to anyone. If you are considering renting from them, I strongly urge you to read ALL the reviews before signing.

My apartment had water damage the first week I moved it, leaking in the living room, the hot water went in and out, one of our windowsills was literally crumbling and they never fixed it. We had an electrical fire and when we called them to get it fixed the landlord said we were lying and a week later the basement apartment had an explosion and fire and we were homeless for weeks. Never work with them, you’ll regret it.

When I reached out about the bug/ rodent he made it seem like the issue was isolated. Turns out the apartment under was reported with an infestation around the same time I reported my issue. Never again. The apartment was nice and new but not well maintained or sealed to avoid issues. Please avoid.

How i didnt just take a look at the reviews before i signed the lease is beyond me. Worst landlord in the world jusr like everyone says doesnt answer the phone doesn’t fix any issues that needs to be fixed actually ridiculous. No hot waters its 11 degeess with a wind chill negative 9 and i have a cold so i cant take a nice hot shower for my congestion
