BRGNY Introduce
When navigating the real estate market in New York, both buyers and renters rely on the expertise and professionalism of real estate agencies. BRGNY, also known as Benedict Realty Group, is an agency located in Garden City, NY, that specializes in real estate and property management. For local users in the New York region, understanding an agency's full scope of services and its reputation is critical to a successful transaction or a positive tenancy experience. This article provides a factual overview of BRGNY, using publicly available information to give you a comprehensive picture of what the agency offers and what some of its clients have experienced.
The real estate landscape is filled with complexities, from finding the right property to understanding the terms of a lease agreement. An agency's role is to simplify this process and act as a reliable partner. BRGNY's services reportedly include investments and property management, with a focus on middle-income residential markets, according to their website. This suggests that they are involved in both the acquisition of properties and the day-to-day management of them as rentals. This dual role means that they are a key point of contact for both investors and tenants.
However, a crucial part of an agency's reputation is the feedback from its clients, particularly tenants who interact with them regularly. Public reviews from renters offer valuable insights into the day-to-day reality of living in a property managed by the agency. These reviews can highlight the agency’s responsiveness, its billing practices, and the overall quality of its management. By considering both the stated services and the reported client experiences, you can form a more complete and realistic view of what it's like to work with BRGNY.
This overview is structured to provide a clear and organized look at BRGNY, covering its location, the services it claims to offer, its key features, and what is most worth considering when choosing to work with them. Our goal is to present all available data in a straightforward manner so you can make an informed decision for your real estate needs in the New York area.

What is worth choosing
When deciding whether to engage with a real estate agency like BRGNY, it's essential to consider all available information, including both its stated purpose and the experiences of its tenants. The agency's dual role as an investor and property manager could, in theory, offer a streamlined service. For property owners, this might mean a single point of contact for investment and management needs. For tenants, it could mean that the company managing the property has a vested interest in its long-term success.
However, the provided tenant reviews paint a different picture. The feedback consistently mentions significant issues with communication, with tenants stating their questions about billing and rent are "not answered" and that "phones are not picked up." There are also mentions of "heavy load $ assessments" and "inexplicable need for 'loans' that tenants need to pay," as well as what they describe as an illogical rent increase. These reviews suggest that there may be a disconnect between the company's business practices and the tenant's experience. A lack of responsiveness and clear communication can be a major source of stress for residents, and it is a factor that should be weighed heavily.
While the company's accessible location and investment-focused business model may be attractive on paper, the public feedback from tenants indicates a potential issue with the level of service and communication. For prospective tenants, these reviews suggest the need for careful consideration and perhaps a more in-depth inquiry into the agency's management style before committing to a lease. For anyone considering their services, it is worth exploring these issues further to ensure that the reality of working with BRGNY aligns with your expectations for a professional and reliable real estate partner.

July 01 · americare appI am keeping my review sincere and accurate as the events unfolded. What happened to me shouldn't happen to ANY family. Especially a veteran family. As far as heat & hot water are concerned in my building it is fine because we have a live in super who cares and is on top of things. The building remains clean due to the hard work of our 2 maintenance guys. My issue with BRG goes deeper. Between them & the old management company I have waited for a unit transfer to a specific 2 br for a few years. As soon as BRG took over the building in October, I started emailing them with regards to the unit transfer. The old management company decided not to put it on the market due to business reasons. I explained in full detail to BRG my dire situation, how badly I needed the bigger space, and how long I’ve been waiting. As well as my ongoing health issues (disability). I have no clue where the miscommunication transpired. I have responses from staff that my emails are being forwarded to the building manager Michael Kohn because he handles transfers or anything to do with the building. (I also have read receipts). But the emails went unanswered by him. I again emailed him in December and that is when I get a response from him "sorry to tell you the unit has been rented" Are you kidding me I have been emailing for months?? I was in shock I didn't even know the unit was being rented as I NEVER got a response from him. Speechless, disappointed, and shocked. Shocked because how do you miss all my emails that were actually forwarded to you by your own colleagues? Absolutely devastated I am because now after living in my building for 40 years me & my family have to pick up and move. The 2 bedroom was given to someone with a housing voucher. Apparently BRG receives incentives for participating in some city program. That is absolutely absurd that this was done to us! I have been working with my company for 20 years, and though I am currently disabled I work remotely. My husband is a desert storm veteran and also works. How is it that us hard working folks with an excellent track record as tenants does this happen to? I do not understand it! That unit would have made such a difference in our lives. Plus the convenience of not having to pack everything up to move as I am still recovering from a quadruple bypass & am disabled (I let them know of this). It has not been an easy recovery. Yes, this unit would have made a world of difference to us. Would have been a blessing for us especially me in my current condition. I really wanted to give BRG the benefit of the doubt even after reading all the bad reviews about them. The reviews are there for a reason. It’s a warning!

September 29 · Viola DuqueNo contact phone number on your rent bill. They claim you are in arrears even though your rent check was cashed. You provide proof and the only way to send it is along with your current rent payment and the problem does not get resolved. The only way to contact them is through the mail and all they do in the mail is cash your check. With each lease renewal they never offer to paint your unit as they are required to by law. They provide no services whatsoever nor can you ever get hold of anyone to talk to.
