Referral Network Introduce
In the complex and competitive world of New York real estate, many professionals and individuals turn to specialized services to gain a competitive edge. Referral Network, a real estate consulting firm based in Valley Stream, NY, offers a broad spectrum of services that go beyond a typical real estate agency's scope. Situated on the border of Queens and Nassau County, the firm's location and wide-ranging offerings are designed to cater to a diverse clientele, from first-time homebuyers to seasoned real estate investors and fellow industry professionals.
The firm's primary designation is as a "real estate consultant," which implies a focus on advisory services and strategic guidance rather than solely on direct brokerage. This includes helping clients with everything from residential and commercial property transactions to more specialized areas like foreclosure sales and luxury property dealings. The extensive list of services, including advisory services, buying or selling properties, and real estate development consulting, suggests a comprehensive approach to the real estate process. For New Yorkers navigating the market, this kind of expertise can be invaluable, offering a professional perspective on everything from market analysis to investment strategies.
Furthermore, the firm’s services extend to a variety of back-end and marketing functions that support real estate professionals, such as lead generation, content strategies, social media management, and web development. This indicates that Referral Network may serve two distinct client bases: individuals and businesses seeking to buy, sell, or rent property, and real estate agents or firms looking for a business partner to help them with client acquisition and marketing. The emphasis on "real estate lead generation" and "Sectem Referral Services" points to a business model centered on connecting clients with agents, which can be a valuable service in a referral-driven industry.
However, it is worth noting that the company's business model, particularly its focus on generating leads for agents, has been met with significant criticism in public reviews. Some clients have reported dissatisfaction with the quality of referrals and the company's communication. One review states, "They will tell you they will provide quality referrals, targeted to your area and concentration type... Rather than 6-8 quality referrals each month, you will be lucky if they send you 1 per quarter... what they do send is a junk referral that has virtually no shot at closing." Another review describes the company as a "scam" and recounts receiving "worthless" leads with non-existent budgets. These public reviews suggest that potential clients and real estate professionals should conduct thorough due diligence and manage their expectations, particularly regarding the lead generation and referral services.
The broad scope of services offered, from "first-time home buyer services" to "luxury real estate" and "real estate development," reflects an ambition to be a comprehensive resource. For a New York client, this could mean finding assistance for almost any real estate-related need in one place. However, the varied nature of the offerings also highlights the importance of understanding the specific service a client is seeking and confirming the firm's capability and expertise in that particular area.
Referral Network is located at 430 W Merrick Rd Suite #14, Valley Stream, NY 11580, USA. This address places the firm in a key suburban hub that borders Queens, New York City. The location is strategic for serving clients in both Nassau County and the city's outer boroughs. West Merrick Road is a major thoroughfare, making the office easily accessible by car.
The firm’s office is situated in a commercial building with a "wheelchair accessible parking lot," which is a notable feature that enhances accessibility for clients with mobility challenges. This consideration for convenience and inclusivity is a positive aspect of the location. For New Yorkers who rely on public transportation, Valley Stream has a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station, offering a direct link to Manhattan and other parts of Long Island. While the office is not directly on the train line, it is a short distance away, and the area is served by local buses. The combination of easy road access and nearby public transit makes the firm a practical option for a wide geographic range of clients in the New York metropolitan area.
Being in a commercial plaza on a main road, the office is part of a cluster of businesses, which can be convenient for clients. The area has a variety of amenities and professional services nearby. This practical, easily reachable location is a key factor for clients, especially those with busy schedules.
Referral Network, as a real estate consultant, provides a comprehensive suite of services that cater to various stages and types of real estate transactions.
Real Estate Buying & Sales: This is a foundational service that covers a wide range of property types, including commercial, condo, foreclosed, and luxury properties. The firm's role would be to advise on market conditions, assist with property searches, and guide clients through the transaction process.
Consulting & Advisory Services: The firm offers strategic advice for a variety of real estate needs, from market analysis and real estate development consulting to real estate investment consulting. This is particularly valuable for clients looking to make informed decisions about their property portfolios or development projects.
Marketing Services: The firm provides services aimed at other real estate professionals, including real estate marketing, content strategies, social media campaigns, and web development. This indicates a business-to-business model focused on helping agents and agencies with lead generation and digital presence.
Specialized Services: Referral Network also deals with specific areas like "first-time home buyer services," "home staging," and "mortgage & lending services," which address niche needs within the broader real estate market.
The firm's distinguishing features are its breadth of services and its focus on a referral-based business model.
Extensive Service Portfolio: The sheer variety of services listed is a significant highlight. A client can potentially get assistance with nearly every aspect of real estate, from buying and selling to marketing and development consulting. This "one-stop-shop" approach can be convenient.
Accessibility: The firm’s location offers easy access for clients in both Queens and Long Island, a valuable feature for people in the New York area. The presence of a wheelchair-accessible parking lot also makes the location inclusive and convenient for all clients.
Focus on Marketing and Leads: For real estate professionals, the firm’s services in lead generation, social media management, and website development are a key feature. It positions them as a partner for business growth, which is a different model than a traditional brokerage.

Choosing a real estate consultant requires a careful consideration of their expertise, business model, and reputation. Referral Network, with its extensive list of services, presents itself as a versatile partner for a wide range of real estate needs in the New York region. For a client looking for a single firm to handle diverse needs—from purchasing a home to consulting on a development project—the firm's broad portfolio is a potential advantage.
However, the public reviews provided raise significant concerns that a potential client should be aware of. The complaints about low-quality referrals and poor communication directly challenge the core of a "referral network" business model. This means that a client, whether a real estate agent seeking leads or an individual seeking property advice, must be cautious. The old adage of "buyer beware" applies here; it would be prudent for any new client to fully understand the terms of service, ask for references, and seek clarity on how the firm delivers on its promises.
For New Yorkers, the presence of a physical office in a well-trafficked area is a positive sign, providing a tangible place for consultations. The accessibility features, such as wheelchair-accessible parking, are also commendable. Ultimately, a potential client should weigh the firm's advertised versatility and convenient location against the negative feedback from past customers. For someone needing a specialized service, it may be worth a direct inquiry to see how the firm's expertise aligns with their specific goals and to get a firsthand impression of their professionalism and service quality.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If i could rate them 0 stars, i would. They will tell you they will provide quality referrals, targeted to your area and concentration type. They will even promise that you will get a credit back on the start up costs on the first closed transaction. Do not buy into this. Rather than 6-8 quality referrals each month, you will be lucky if they send you 1 per quarter. LUCKY. And what they do send is a junk referral that has virtually no shot at closing. Most of the ones i actually got were rental referrals with budgets that were not close to reasonable in my market. And when you email their support, you get a bounced-back, undeliverable email. 0/10
June 11 · Randy WilliamsThis company is a scam. Do not buy what they are selling. After 3 months of being in the membership program they have produced 3 leads of which the three were absolutely worthless. Buyers who wanted to buy a townnhome in Miami for 75 K, a buyer wanting to buy a home in Miami for 200 K. These prices are non existent in the South Florida area. They sent me an investor to appease me since I asked for my money back and in my original preference list I did not check off investors since I already have 3 that I work with. Do not get scammmed, as a matter of fact any company that wants you to put up money upfront to receive a lead that you will be paying a referral % is not worth your time.

April 29 · Carlos AzcarateI really wish I didn't have to write a negative review. They initially told me they didn't have enough traffic in my area to provide me with the 4-6 leads/mo. Ok, totally understandable. Then a few days later they called and asked me to sign up stating they'd had a big all-team meeting and decided they could provide me with that. This was the first week of October. Since then, they've provided me with two leads with one they deemed themselves as not good because the person gave an incorrect phone number, and the second is the same. So, nearly 2 months now and I've received nothing. My follow up isn't the issue, it's the information they've given to me that is the issue. I don't know where this info comes from, but it's garbage. So, in short, don't spend your money on this company. I did because they promised an average of 4 leads a month. Honestly, I should have known better. It's a real disappointment.

November 27 · Chris RobertsThey go by Sectem referral when they call you. Address and phone number are the same as this Google page. I paid them the upfront fee for leads 5 months ago. I got one lead an hour outside my service area. The lead was not responsive. Scam. Don't give them your credit card number.

March 04 · Greg WilliamsAnother scam site. They reach out via text and arrange a phone call. They are asking for a minimum of $395.00 annually to access 3 zip codes. No reputable referral service will make you pay them for referrals.
