It's unfortunate to write this after reading the positive reviews. My experience with Shakira was not as pleasant. We originally had an appointment for Thursday Oct 10th and she canceled last minute due to an "emergency" with her son, we rescheduled for Saturday the 12th at 11am, we scheduled the appointment early because Shakira had to show a house at noon however she never showed up. I called her 3 times, and I texted her 7 times, and she never answered. I was able to speak to the landlord, and he tried to get a hold of her as well, yet she never answered him. She read all of my messages and still left me on read. I finally heard back from her with a bogus excuse about being sick and took no accountability for the 3 hours I wasted in traveling and waiting for her. I live in Brooklyn and the L train never works on Saturday, I had also told her my dad has cancer and I'm caring for him and I wasted my time waiting for her with no response what so ever. When I asked her I could speak to her boss because the fees did not make sense and I wanted them to take into consideration the fact that I lost 3 hours as I normally see clients on Saturday as well and Shakira refused. The fees did not make sense. She told me it was 10% of the yearly rent, which would have been 2,160, yet she insisted it was 2200. My rent, however, was reduced by 50, and the new total would've been $2100, yet she still didn't care and still charged me $ 2200, which was way over 10%. I asked her more than once to let me speak to her boss because this was really unprofessional. I don't mind paying the brokers fee at all, but you can't say it's 10% and charge people more than 10%. She insisted on signing the lease in the apt., not her office and brought 3 copies for us to sign, and I really wanted to go to the office so I could speak to her supervisor yet she refused. Also, if you're charging fees this high, there should be some type of accountability and professionalism, and there was none with Shakira. She did not check any of my references. She only called my boss to make sure I have a job and the owner of the house I lived in now. She also told me she wasn't going to bring up my credit to the new owners and asked me not to say anything. I didn't say anything before because due to my father's cancer and radiation treatments I am desperately looking to move closer to him and this apartment is 5 blocks from my dad and I was also afraid that me saying anything would interfere with my lease signing. Shakira was aware that I needed this urgently, and I feel like she took advantage of the situation. Now that I have the apartment, I feel comfortable saying that my experience with Shakira was terrible. Again, I don't mind paying. I just expect there to be a top-notch service for the high fees that they are charging. As realtors you guys are very aware that time is money and I lost $300 in those 3 hours that Shakira read my messages but didn't answer and left me hanging plus you guys charged me $300 extra since it was not 10%. Unfortunately, my requests for acknowledgment and a discount were also denied.I hope this feedback helps others make informed decisions. It's important for realtors to maintain professionalism and clear communication, particularly when fees are involved. I was also told the apartment has no raoches or rats, and so far, I've found 4 huge waterbugs. It sucks that you guys take advantage of people who are in need. I have pictures as well of all of her unanswered messages and phone calls.

Hans Campana was the most professional realtor I have ever worked with! He was dedicated, and consistent with sharing apartment listings and communication. I also really appreciated that he would include all the information I could need about the apartments in the listing pages such as what floor it was on, if a parking space was available, what utilities were included, if pets were allowed etc. Hans also reached out to other realtors that had apartments on their rosters that would be a good fit for me and my needs. I can’t recommend Hans enough and am already referring him to friends. Thank you Hans for all you help!

Shakira was absolutely amazing! My partner and I were in a rush to get out of our basement apartment and Shakira was the only realtor that we came across who ensured that we got everything we wanted and needed, when we needed it. She came up with so many options for us and showed us so many apartments in a short amount of time. She was fantastic with following up and keeping us updated with everything. When we did finally fall in love with an apartment, we were actually up against another person and Shakira did everything she could to make sure that we got the apartment, and thanks to her...we did! She got everything right from the price to the location. She was truly amazing and anyone working with her will truly be lucky to have her! I haven't ever seen such a hard-working realtor. Excellent͏ RealtorRaymond is a relentless and creative realtor. He will be honest about the true value of your listing but also with his team working very hard to help you sell your property. Excellent communication skills and was always available via WhatsApp to answer questions and provide follow-up when I was dealing with selling my mother's property even though I was located in another state.
