Daniel Group first received complaints in early September, and officially replied on September 11th, 2024 with an e-mail and identical printed notices (attached), but took no further action.Ia. Daniel Group never installed any security cameras in the building.Ib. Daniel Group never repaired the single extant security camera, located outside the front entrance—a non-functioning security camera for which there has been at least one maintenance request, left unanswered for several months.Ic. I had a great experience interacting with the management company. Quick repair and easy access to maintenance and rent portal. They usually complete maintenance request within 24 hours and I was really happy with that. Other building takes days to even get back to you... Daniel has been great and very understanding.. Totally recommend them!

The office doesn’t approve necessary work. They’re real slumlords.As far as I can tell, the only positive reviews here are from management or employees.Stay away if you have choice!

I was moving from out of state so it was difficult to foresee all the issues that I would face interacting with this company. If I had more local intel, I would have stayed away. Everything takes forever with this company and the management does not seem to care. A few examples. I've been asking for weeks for a renewal lease (not that I love living here but too much on my plate to move again), but for whatever reason I'm not being provided one. This building is the only one on the block that has garbage thrown about on the sidewalk--they were even cited for it recently. I had my lease started about three weeks before I moved in and asked for window guards (I have toddlers). The window guards were not installed until AFTER we moved in, with the contractor sawing metal while my kids tried to nap and making everything dirty in a newly cleaned apartment. Not to mention there was no movement on this until I filed a complaint with the city housing department. Dealing with the management on every level has been nightmarish.
