★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1In September of 2024, after months of discussions and reviewing my options with my family; to either keep the property or to sell it; I made the tough decision to sell the 6 family (18-31 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria) building that my family has owned for over 50 years. After this one tough decision came another one, what realtor do I trust to list the property with and who will work with me in good faith with me to secure a fair offer. It turns out this wasn’t very tough, several close friends of mine all recommended I work with Anthony LoVerme of Blue Brick Real Estate.I contacted Anthony on September 10, 2024, he responded immediately and a meeting was set for September 13, 2024 where he, along with Danielle Konstantin presented their offer to list the building for me. Anthony and Danielle listened to all of my concerns and assured me they would be there to help me with everything involved with the sale. I felt extremely comfortable with everything that was presented to me. Anthony set up photography for September 20th and the listing went live on September 25th.After several showings, and eight offers, I accepted one on October 10th. At this point, I was extremely satisfied and very impressed with all of the hard work that Anthony, Danielle, Caroline and the rest of the Blue Brick team put in to make this happen. Anthony continued to follow up with the buyer and the attorneys and I was able to sign a contract on November 6th. After a couple of challenges associated with the sale of a Rent Stabilized building were resolved, I was able to complete the sale and close on the building on January 8th 2025.Considering the economic realities with the sale of a NYC Rent Stabilized building, I thought the timeline from listing to closing was excellent.
